It spurred her on to be the 'Angel of the AIDS crisis' in Arkansas, helping those rejected by family. Her memoir was released #OTD in the UK

#TodayInQueerHistory August 4 (1990) "Two spirit" was proposed and adopted at the 3rd annual gathering of Native American Gays and Lesbians. It's a term for those "who embody diverse sexualities, genders, gender roles and expressions." It comes from Ojibwe "niizh manidoiwag" which means 2 spirits.

I reject the premise. Other than the security theatre, air travel is so much better than it was. Airports have amenities. Planes are safer and more comfortable. Price is orders of magnitude lower. We used to have smoking sections on the plane.

A big one for anywhere actively enforcing it is how they are planning to a) 'know' and b) log someone's "birth sex", given that you can't tell by looking/hearing, asking someone in a public space could constitute a breach of someone's right to privacy, and sex is special category data under GDPR.

Ben Goldacre was right. Andrew Wakefield’s legacy is alive and well. The Cass review is based on flawed science and has been widely criticised, yet it has been kept alive by the media. Curiously, the leading voice in Bad Science has been completely silent about it.
