Seems like an upset might be brewing in the GOP primary in #MI08 to take on Dem Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet. Trump endorsed Amir Hassan, but he currently trails an absolute nobody who suspended his campaign a month ago by a wide margin.
The item criminalizing homeless has failed 6-4, with Wright, Fisher, Culpepper and Hamby as the four trying to criminalize it.
I like McMorrow - I think she picked/got stuck with bad consultants for her Senate campaign and got bad advice. I actually think that in a 2-way race against either Stevens or El-Sayed, she would have won, but in a 3-way race her lane just wasn't there.
All of the referendum news tonight seems to be good, even if everything else is a bit of a mess.

This will be cited to justify the usual claims about how journalism is elitist and out of touch. But as Ryan's follow-up shows, it's actually because the NYT and WSJ are surviving while newspapers everywhere else are folding.
