Crime rates have fallen *massively* in the past 40 years. The homicide rate in Canada was 40% lower in 2025 than in 1985.

I think it's time to recognize that if you subscribe to The Athletic and share their stuff, you are supporting a larger framework that absolutely demands bigotry be treated with some level of decorum. It's not quite the Harry Potter fan dilemma, but it's not far off from it.
How about every time the government has to order workers back to work for the sake of the "national public interest," the CEOs of the companies they work for have to go to jail for a year, as punishment for being so bad at their jobs that they created strike conditions at such a crucial industry.

Feels like a big year for spiders. I have a laundry line in my basement I hang my non-dryer stuff on and I went down to get the laundry and there were 4 webs in my way. Half my security cameras at work make it look like giant spiders are attacking the falls.
