kadusey@kadusey.bsky.social · 2h agoI just read Of Nettle and Bone by @tkingfisher.com yesterday (lovely book, really enjoyed it), so Bone Fairies stealing teeth jumped right out at me! 😂 At least there wasn’t a Toothdancer involved! Also, I want a toy Bonedog now…might have to figure out if I can crochet one or something.
I'll be drawing birds for donations again this year in addition to my weekly running miles! Details on how to donate for bird illustrations will come later this month. Looking forward to doing this again with you all, the kids need the help more than ever!

It is incredibly endearing the way Hoseok has embraced being a Gym Boy. He goes to the gym! With his bros! He lifts heavy things in skimpy clothes and checks himself out in the mirror and is very pleased! While much of BTS was naturally gym attuned he has worked to reach Gym Boy and he is so proud

Also, older Army and disabled Army! A lot of people at the shows I went to wouldn’t even look at me when they were passing out their freebies, but there were a decent percentage that asked me if I’d like one as I was hobbling around with my cane, and I am always delighted to get a freebie!

But they always said yes when I asked and most of them were super excited or curious. So don't forget Army men too! And of course all Army, treat everyone equally.

All of this is so true! I've tried diff approaches with freebies & my most enjoyable was not to stand in 'freebie corners' or to let people rush I enjoyed walking down a line or in quieter areas & giving everyone a freebie. I got many more interactions, people actually engaged & started convos

In today’s episode of “People on BCD have the most arbitrary PC trading rules”, apparently a moving PC from Merry-Go-Round is not from “a similar collection” to a moving PC from Normal and therefore is not worthy enough for them to accept the trade. 🙄
Now they're doing what we call "trace forward" in the food biz. "Now that we have a suspect [lettuce from X farm].....where ELSE did that lettuce go?" In other words, a whole lot of companies were probably serving that lettuce! Taco Bell just had a good tracking program, so they found it first!
A quick word on Taco Bell: That's where we found the suspected lettuce, and it's not bc Taco Bell is gross. It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!
