Remember these people some time from now when they go back to scrub their rationales for abandoning trans people from their histories. There is no question in my mind it will soon become consensus that it’s disgusting to concern oneself with anyone else’s reproductive organs or private behavior.

Unfortunately there are people who care about trans people having rights who are not trans people themselves and I’m sure that the number will suddenly grow exponentially post election when candidates have lost and you’re looking for someone to blame that isn’t the candidates themselves

Unfortunately abandoning trans people is not the deal-breaker many on the left think it is as there have been no tangible consequences for Dem polticians who do it. For one thing, there aren't many trans people in the U.S. population (only 1%) so there's not a lot of backlash.

25 years ago, terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people, including 2,753 New Yorkers. As we remember that terrible day, let us also remember the first responders, office workers and strangers who ran toward danger to help each other.
