And to my last point, if y’all don’t remember trying to eat at a restaurant where half the patrons were smoking, I have to tell you it was not great. Walking into a NJ diner nowadays and not getting hit with that is a real win.
I think about all the lakes and rivers and waterways in cities that used to be running jokes about toxic sludge and now are swimmable. Also we did kind of fix the whole ozone layer situation. Plus way fewer people smoke cigarettes!

I hate the fact that life has turned into an endless series of single-use kitchen gadgets. Want to go to a theme park? Better install their proprietary app. Want to go to another theme park owned by the same company? That will be another app.
The “best” thing about genAI (the quotes are doing heavy work here) is that it’s really lowered the bar on getting into hand-made art. Literally anything you make is better than ai. There’s never been a better time to throw away your fear and start learning that craft you’ve always wanted to learn.

It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!

I do agree with the inflation being the explanatory factor for the *increase* in Trump support, but this looks like something else. I have a lot of trouble imagining the kind of person who doesn't vote is my issue, I think a lot of people on here have this issue.
