This is the problem with the idea that Dems can't go on offense on immigration. It's not okay for Collins to have a clear field on TV to sell herself as a moderate on ICE. CNN has Trump 22 points underwater on this. Two other polls have Ds *tied with the GOP* on it! newrepublic.com/article/2138...

The upshot is that a situation which is fundamentally good for Democrats (without them having to do anything) is now a reason for Democratic supporters to scream at Democrats, seems like a healthy dynamic which is definitely bad for Republicans!

Still cannot fucking believe some people think codifying Roe in legislation would have made it past these robed scoundrels. They destroyed a law passed unanimously (the VRA). The Conservatives on the Court voted 4-2 (!!!!!) to destroy a Constitutional amendment via Trump memo.
