A lazy guy with a big, cube-shaped head. Old enough to remember when there were two Berlins. Frequently a big ol' dork. (He/him)

Okay so @defector.com has had an odd glitch since the site redesign a couple of weeks back where the wrong photo and headline are often put together on the main page and I was going to ask them about fixing it but this just happened and as far as I'm concerned they have to leave it as is.

Screenshot for a Defector podcast episode with the headline "Consider the Emotional Lives of Scallops" only the accompanying photo is a white gormless stubbled red-headed UK singer of recent notoriety giving a flat smile to the camera while wearing a washed out peach top as beige as he is against a flat background. So, actually, probably a scallop anyway.

Mitch McConnell's brain has finished being shrunken down and inserted into a flying metal orb, he's happy, he's thriving, he's chasing a man through a mausoleum at dusk with his blades fully extended and drill bit spinning, he's now living his best life thanks to the Tall Man

Was walking past this building and through the window saw this backrooms-ass room, so I accidentally took the coolest picture ever due to the window's reflection

A backrooms-ass room with a twilight sky and trees seemingly imposed over it in a dream-like fashion (it's the reflection of the window)

the part in every early 2010s novel where it starts telling you about how the sky is So Blue and Clear, on this perfect September Morning in September has nothing on the part in a midcentury novel about WW1 that's like narrator: I was having lunch with a friend rest of the beastie boys: [IN 1914]

my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. Dolly responded to it personally & paid for her top surgery. Sounds like an urban legend but it's real. I think we're going to more stories like this.
