Maybe corny but it was helpful for me to hear Henry Rollins saying "this is not time to be dismayed, this is punk rock time, this is what Joe Strummer trained you for... You can be thunderous in your own life, to the eight people around you. That rubs off... Goodness is viral"

I called the office of my state assemblywoman, Jo Ann Simon, who supports congestion pricing. Her office told me they’ve never gotten so many calls from constituents who are upset about a single issue before. Her staffer suggested that I call the NY senate majority leader and assembly speaker too

If you care about this, and you should, give Gov. Hochul a call at 518-474-8390. If that's busy (and they're saying 90 minute wait times on the line) send her a fax at 518-474-3767 using faxzero.com like I did. Maybe do both!

Seems to me that if you’re worried about the slim number of votes that “people in close districts who also frequently drive into Manhattan and aren’t already committed partisans” constitutes, you have much, much larger problems than congestion pricing
