He/Him. Certified Bachelor of Arts (Professional and Creative Writing) graduate with distinction. I like to write and edit and talk about obscure video games.

It seems like you all like Velorie, so I'm going to reveal something: she'll be part of a short project I've been working on since last week; it's still early days, but I'm making REALLY QUICK progress. This will be the next game I make.

I'd love to credit whoever wrote this. No idea. But I'm 100% with its message. When I think of how the '80s ethos, "Greed is Good" has metastasized, it surprises and depresses me. Imagine having so many millions, hundred of millions, even billions & caring about nothing except your own vanity.

For those that didn't read the essay it's an important sidenote that one of the main arguments was, "you never bitched all these years we've been screwing Natives out of clean water, maybe you should be consistent and let us ruin your availability to clean water as well."

Professional writer organizations should not send out pro-AI propaganda in the form of tantrum-having "essays" to their members, and I don't think that's controversial.

Today on 'Things That Should Have Been Obvious But Took Hel Entirely Too Long To Realize': The Void Hunter symbol is a black hole. The dash across it is the accretion disk. Like of-fucking-course it is. I can't believe it didn't hit me until right now!

The most terrifying enshittification I've discovered has been learning that Microsoft Word documents no longer auto-save if you are not saving them to one of their own proprietary cloud services. I'm slapping control-S like it's 1999.

I've updated the box art and steam store images for Void Rains. I made the original in 2019, but there were very few monsters at the time, and very few of those had an interesting silhouette. I've managed to fit in an additional 16 monsters!

That's what taxes are, man. That's the definition of taxes. "You are subsidizing things you might never use" man shut the fuck up. My taxes currently subsidize like oil company exec private jets, you think I'm upset at low-income people eating inexpensive bananas?

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

chat, it is bad when your last campaign event is disavowed by the host because they didn't realize it was your campaign event and fundamentally oppose what you're all about

NEWS: Local business owner claims Haley Stevens and the Kent Dems were misleading about an event hosted at their facility, which is nextdoor to the Kent Dems.

Pux Taphouse says they believed this was a “Women’s Dem” event, but realized later it was for Haley Stevens U.S. Senate campaign.

Pux Taphouse used the event to clarify online that it does NOT endorse Stevens because she is Anti-LGBTQAIP2s+ and supports Israel.

When Pux was approached to book this event, we were only it would be a private women's Dem event. Pux was never advised that Haley Stevens would be connected with this event. We are heartbroken as we pride ourselves on being not only a queer friendly space but also have advocated and continue to call for a free Palestine. We DO NOT endorse Haley Stevens. Our promise to our community is that in the future we will be more vigilant in requesting specific details for private events in the future. We apologize most sincerely and will be donating the proceeds tonight to the Grand Rapids Pride Center.
