Hey man. Just wanted to check in about your Orbs. Yeah just wondering about the challenges of them really. Because like I know the look of your Orbs changed recently. And that can result in new challenges. But, "when the Orbs are easier to track, they're easier to earn." Churchill I think said that

New look, new challenges
Now your Orbs are easier to track and easier to earn.
See Challenges

Since I felt that the existing artbook on The Expanse wasn't comprehensive enough, I interviewed the designers to write a whole series of articles (in the thread below) to fill in the gaps. But it's finally happening! They're going to release a big “making-of” book, just as The Expanse deserves! 🔽

The Expanse: The Complete Visual History is the definitive behind-the-scenes celebration of one of science fiction’s most ambitious television series. Spanning all six seasons, this lavish 320-page coffee table book charts the journey from James S.A. Corey’s novels to a fully realized on-screen universe. Packed with stunning concept art, detailed ship and world designs, and rare production photography, it reveals how the Belt, Mars, and Earth were brought vividly to life. Exclusive interviews with cast, writers, designers, and showrunners offer candid insight into the creative decisions, technical challenges, and evolving themes that shaped the series—from intimate character moments to galaxy-altering conflicts. Meticulously curated and richly illustrated, this volume explores the artistry, collaboration, and vision behind The Expanse, making it an essential companion for longtime fans as well as a compelling introduction for newcomers to its grounded, politically charged vision of humanity’s future among the stars.

[Thread] Beltalowda! The Expanse will soon be celebrating its 10th anniversary on TV, and I'm starting to accumulate quite a few long-form resources on the creation of this show. For the Cant! Here is the list below. 1/8

I see we're having a debate about whether it's okay to go back to "X," the site owned by a trillionaire fascist who is currently bankrolling the GOP's midterm, throttled Ukraine's war effort, and still winkingly allows vast amounts of CSAM on his service Answer: No, what the fuck is wrong with you

this is also the genesis of the entire conservative media environment after nixon they were determined that what happened to him would never again happen to a republican president and they built a legal and media infrastructure to make sure it would not they succeeded beyond their wildest dreams

i think that the best way the understand conservative legal philosophy is to know that, literally, it was constructed backward from the premise that a Republican president should be permitted to commit crimes against democracy

traveling with someone who has airline status when you don’t is the closest experience modern life can offer to squiring for a knight

KARL: Rs are gonna make you the poster child for the D Party MAMDANI: Let them. We don't have to ask ourselves what life looks like if a socialist wins. I won last year & over the course of the last 6 months what we've delivered for working people are the very things we were told were impossible.

I'm exhausted with beautiful people. I don't want to see them anymore. you couldn't make Who Framed Roger Rabbit? today. the detective would have been some Hemsworthian flesh sculpture but with brown hair and glasses probably

joined this site almost three years ago me not a single solitary thing that has happened since has convinced me that arguing with people online is a good use of time

My hottest “I have no data to back this up” take is that phones aren’t making young people less happy. What’s making them less happy is living in a world where everyone is having their reality defined by recommendation algorithms that can only care about whether something keeps you watching.

Young adult happiness is falling. Percent of young people who are pretty or very happy has dropped from 88% to 76% over the last 15 years after having held fairly steady between 1980 and 2010

free note to everyone: you can just say we shouldn’t be bombing Iran rather than pretending this would be fine if Trump explained himself better

What you idiot commies don’t understand is that if we tax rich people they will JUST LEAVE, depriving our nation of tax cheats, political bribery, and national acts of perversion
