Americans talking about "naked Sydney Sweeney" this and "Liberty Biberty" that. NOT US! We've got the scruffy boyish charm of Michael Cera in a rapidly-expanding universe of interacting with Toronto athletes to get us to upgrade our cable package.

Speeding talk is so funny because no one needs to reveal themselves as a reckless shit head on here to strangers but they just cannot restrain themselves. You can just go speed and probably get away with it but you gotta make sure everyone thinks you're right for doing it too.

Seems extremely smart and responsible for the media to collectively have settled on “isn’t it annoying that annoying man David Eby is annoyingly making you cast an annoying vote” as the framing for the election, and not, say, “is the party that was full of racist nuts still full of racist nuts?”

The Toronto Police arrested Aly Van Wyck-Smart, a Paralympian with cerebral palsy who was protecting part of the bike lane from removal. On the bright side, the construction workers put the bollards back and said we'd won for the day.

One thing I find enormously annoying about the bike lane discourse is how many people think that Uber Eats and DoorDash drivers using them somehow invalidates the statistics. No problem ordering a burrito taxi, but god forbid we build safe infrastructure for the people delivering your order!!!

As a reminder, the entire reason this specific bike lane is somehow under the purview of the Provincial Government is because our moron Premier has to pass it on his way to his job (on the rare days he goes to work) and the sight of a cyclist passing his SUV in traffic makes his blood BOIL

a rough map of Doug Ford's house in north Etobicoke, the Bloor bike lanes, and Doug Ford's alleged job at Queen's Park

You know, the thing is, I had drafted this piece a month ago, and then never published it, because I thought maybe it was too mean.
