I'm continually impressed at how motornormativity causes people to create a revisionist history of American cities where they sprouted up fully formed and filled with cars and parking spots. Motornormativity also causes these people to ignore the many places that have reversed car dependency.

There's a difference between feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. MLAs are not unsafe in Province House. Closing down the second floor to the public is a cowardly move. They did it because some of the MLAs feel uncomfortable with the cuts, and won't admit it.

So if I'm reading this report right, 10 years after passing the BRT plan we are now starting a three year planning process so that by 2028 we may start to impliment parts of BRT plan first approved by council in 2016.

I’m finding it painful to watch CBC platform mostly conservatives to gush praise at former Prime Minister Stephen Harper (they’re releasing his archival collection) with almost zero commentary about the awful things he did while in power & around the world since. The selective amnesia is nauseating.
