“By the following April, Reform no longer owed Tisun any money. Some had been repaid directly, but most of it, £613,000, had been covered by Tice converting the sum from a loan into a donation. There was no disclosure about how Tice was able to fund that decision.” Yeah, not shady at all 🤔

On the same day, Britain Means Business transferred £500,000 to Reform in a fresh donation from the company. Also on the same day, Reform paid back £200,000 out of £1,083,000 in outstanding loans from Tice's other company, Tisun Investments Ltd, according to Electoral Commission data and the former treasurer of the party.

By the end of 2024, Britain Means Business had just £10,500 in capital and reserves, according to the company's accounts, suggesting all of the money from Fiona Cottrell had been removed from the business by Tice.

Reform repaid Tice loan on same day £1mn donated by mother of Farage aide Cottrell ft.trib.al/dlAq12b

And here is the Spiked gang (Clare Fox, Brendan O'Neill, ex-Revo Communist Party) jumping to the defence of Rod Liddle. This is the go-to right-wing cliche abt critics of Liddle: calling them the "Be Kind mob." Something you could never call Liddle or Spiked.

Whether you're smart, special, unique, very sensitive, loving, caring, funny and a good mother is solely the judgement of others. Sarah Ferguson and Andrew "Too honourable" Mountbatten Windsor are a perfect match.

The national soap opera that is ‘Nigel Farage’ has a lot, lot longer to run yet. And so, I’m finding it difficult to think of a single candidate in the entire country that could defeat Nigel Farage in the subsequent Clacton by-election? @martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com , perhaps?

Clacton By-Election Voting Intention: ➡️ RFM: 73% (+27) 🗑️ CBF: 20% (New) 🟥 REC: 2% (New) ⚫ Others: 5% (-49) Via @survation.bsky.social, 16-24 Jul. Changes w/ GE2024.

What better way to get everyone to *NOT* be focused on the substance and details of the incredibly murky financial affairs of Nigel Farage, Richard Tice and the Reform UK Limited company. It’s all just distraction tactics from them at this stage. They’re just playing for time now.

AOC: All of this is a distraction.

Nigel Farage just took a question from a 'journalist' at his press conference, who turned out to be his former chief adviser Raheem Kassam, who asks him why the media are being so unfair to him

Personally I think there are "legitimate questions" about COVID. Like why Michael Gove and Matt Hancock got away with giving away contracts to their mates. And why the fuck Michelle Mone and Doug Barrowman haven't been prosecuted.

They’re already rapidly searching for his replacement — someone too stupid to realise they’re being played by the very establishment they rail against until it’s all too horribly late for them. Braverman therefore becomes Nigel Farage’s natural replacement as party leader.

Farage wants us all to believe the political establishment has it in for him. The reality is the political establishment now recognises — in his much too overt greed — he’s showing them all up and has to be jettisoned.
