One of the (many) reasons I think people are so anti-AI is that it’s a gratuitous display of wealth inequality. The average person’s life is difficult, expensive, and getting any kind of loan sucks - unless you’re raising billions of dollars to build an AI data center.

Analysis | To revive their political party, Democrats must reject the wishes of Democratic Party voters.
To relate this to anime, it's interesting, but I've occasionally listened to some anime dubs where the emphasis appears to clearly be on the wrong word in the sentence, and in my head I think, "How do you not understand the subject?" Though this may be a result of the simulcasting age of dubs.

Todd Vaziri@tvaziri.com · 2w agoI know Variety/Hollywood Reporter/Indiewire/Deadline (and The Golden Globes/GoldDerby) are all owned by the same company, and they basically live off of "For Your Consideration" ads bought by studios, but sometimes some good writing+reporting comes out of those outlets. But not today.
