Jet fuel cracks still slightly off prior pinch-point crises in March and before that in 2022; while diesel driving it, jet fuel naturally comimng along for the ride.

"Fought" is the wrong word. The US Navy won't even try to force the strait open because the administration's tolerance for casualties is extremely low because the war started underwater on public opinion and keeps getting worse. Iran merely has to not give up and threaten the strait indirectly.

The thing about polling is that it is done and then mediated through a turnout model. That's why primary polling is notoriously bad, for example.
