In 2027 Seattle's minimum wage will be $22.14 per hour. That's more than THREE TIMES the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour—a rate that hasn't been raised since 2009. And yet somehow we're not the jobless wasteland orthodox economics would predict. Weird.

116 people, even at a very conservative $75,000 a year is $8.7 million. Yes they do sometimes help folks get connected to services, but mostly they are policing, monitoring and removing unhoused people and assisting in trashing their belongings. Just utterly absurd and unconscionable.
