one of those things that was cool in star trek but absolutely sucks now that it's real
wherever a person imagines asking a friendly butler to find him some pornography on the internet, Jeeves is there. he lives in the filthiest heart
Cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend reading this story, which is a detailed account of all the DRAMA swirling inside the market for dinosaur bones because billionaires can't stop buying them up in an effort to out-fossil each other. Gift link: www.bloomberg.com/features/202...
Billionaires’ T. Rex Obsession Has Turned Fossils Into Red-Hot Drama
As the battle for dinosaur bones heightens, paleontologists, collectors and auction houses navigate a Wild West market.

Microsoft this week: We're laying off half the industry. Sony: We're ending physical games. Nintendo: have u seen this splatoon weapon we call it the bloblobber
After almost ten years at Bungie I was laid off today. I started on Destiny 2 in 2016 and was one of the first handful of people to join the Marathon incubation team at the end of 2019. The loss today, like so many of these days, is immeasurable. We built some really incredible things together.
Not looking great for video game corporation employee
The video games corporation is discontinuing their popular product, the video game
god it would be so funny if unlocking the secrets of consciousness and becoming as gods really were a matter of hoarding video game graphic cards
When UE4 was new and competing for market share against Unity and Crytek, the studio was hungry. Best-in-class dev and student outreach. Major investment into UX and research. Huge technical innovations. GDC was the biggest moment of the year, and we'd drop everything to support a new demo.
did a blog post of my Thoughts on the Actual State of Unreal in 2026, how it has come to this, etc etc. i've been an unreal user since 2008, and this is the worst the vibes have ever been. is there hope? perhaps www.joewintergreen.com/absolute-sta...
epic has seemingly abandoned visual verse, the stupid idea that was gonna replace blueprint. so now they just want to remove blueprint entirely and shoot themselves in the dick by getting rid of the most compelling sell (imo) of unreal
youre not going to believe this but the dumb assholes we put in charge have fucked everything up
