College football has become a huge payday since the CTE research. Not just “oh, son, you’ll get a good education with that scholarship,” but full on million+ dollar sponsorship deals. I also recently read that NFL games were 83 of the top 100 most-watched broadcasts in the US. It’s not going away.

I wish the people actually cared about the safety of children playing sports because I don't think children can consent to playing tackle football and it should be illegal to have it in public schools.

Typically hard-coded credentials are used during the design stage to make it easier to test and develop whatever you're working on. Eventually you're supposed to replace them with standard security credentials. But for various reasons that all equal "bad at your job," they never get replaced.
