Until this changes, disabled people will not feel welcome in the community you are trying to foster. They may not be able to physically enter or survive the community you’re trying to foster! Do you really mean we should ALL band together Or do you assert we can only belong if we don’t have needs?
—about the only salvation being in community, but won’t mask up for immunocompromised comrades. Won’t organize in accessible places. Offer one size fits all community aid. And—importantly— Cover their ears when disabled people try to tell you what a particular experience feels like.
