One of the saddest things things about studio closings is fans clamoring to save the IP. Never the artists who made it No. What matters is The Franchise, so they can have more games. Games are nothing without the people who make them, but all gamers care about is their toys. It's really gross.

Actually fucking sick of liberals refusing to acknowledge any complaints from trans people about their precious institutions WHILE ALSO expecting us to do all of the fucking work to save them. Gender-affirming for trans women, I guess - they want us to do all the work and get none of the benefit!

Trans people are a materially real category of person whether you like it or not, and no amount of navel-gazing word games will change the fact that the punishment society levels at those who declare their belonging to that category is blatantly unjust.
How you feel that "true" gender should be classified has no bearing on the simple privacy issue that someone who lives her whole life being read as a woman intuitively by strangers should not be obligated to out herself by going into the men's bathroom.
You can skip the gender metaphysics debate entirely if you say, "I don't care about that. I care about the material consequences trans people experience for living the way they want to," and then hammer the point home that no amount of gender metaphysics can ever justify transfemicide.
I do think that a major failure point of a lot of mainstream trans activism is the focus on responding to attacks on trans people in the same arena that those attacks are being made, i.e., indulging the notion that this is a philosophical debate over gender metaphysics and trying to win that one.

I'm not sure the me from a year ago would recognise the me from now. We look basically the same, but would she have gone on a 3-day date with two women at once? Would she have worked out at 1am after a 12hr shift because of that date? No I don't think she would have. She'd be fucking proud though
