I'm convinced that strong public facing morality is key to getting us out of this corrupt and amoral Trump Era. Trumpism is a reflection of the society that produced it, and we cannot move to something better without re-anchoring society to a coherent set of real values.

I tend to get dogpiled every time I say this but: as someone *who likes bluesky and benefits from being here* we have a problem. The network is shrinking, not growing. It's shrinking a lot: only about 1.1m people a day even like a post. This time last year it was 1.6m.

You know whose fault it actually is that bluesky is dying? the reply guys, who consistently let down power users with substandard riffs and slightly off-topic GIFs

A brilliant lefty church move would be to collect a fund that would pay PTO for those in a congregation who don’t have it so they can observe the Triduum
