The president took on a vanity project, gave no-bid contracts to contractors who screwed it up, made up a story about vandals to cover it up, and then fomented a felony prosecution against an innocent scapegoat. You could impeach for anything he's done but "This asshole is out of control" is a layup

When you slow down and think about it you realize it's ten times worse than it seems. Sure it's farcical, but it's also a brutal legal attack on a man they knew to be innocent, done to distract from their own thievery and incompetence and as a flex to terrify anyone who might make them look bad.

In theory there’s a whole complicated debate to be had about the prerogative of states to spend resources on their citizens vs duty to the world’s poorest, etc, in practice none of that shit matters because they saved no money overall & killed people even relative to an orderly & legal drawdown

Musk did not just decide not to provide people with life saving aid. He *broke the law* in order to *deny promised aid*. 1

I know there are probably a lot of these now, but I just heard a song that referenced swiping right. I don’t think you should be saying that in a song. You should be saying something about your loins or your blood.

Netflix’s biggest shows have been losing 30-70% of their audience between seasons 1 and 2. Executives are in a panic because they can’t figure out why, but the answer is probably pretty damn obvious to anyone who’s paying attention.

The (Not So) Curious Case of Netflix's Shrinking Audience

Why the streaming giant loses up to 70% of its viewers between seasons - and the obvious reason why executives refuse to believe it

Me: So, yeah, I'd say the mango basically approaches "favorite fruit" territory for me Guy interviewing me in my imagination: That's incredible. And you say this because you're eating one now? Me: Exactly. I invented you—gave you mind-birth—for that reason. This habit is one of my many perversions

Starting to think it may be a problem that my hopes for the future always rest on the belief that at some point I'll have more energy than I do now.

it's not really important in the grand scheme of things, but finding out the 250th anniversary of the country was going to be a nation-wide party with infinite food and concerts in major venues and Trump canceled all of it so he could hire shady contractors and pocket the rest infuriates me so much.

INCREDIBLE SCENES ON FOX as there is LITERALLY NOT A SOUL at Trump's fair, which has now been open for 15 minutes

Court can't go on like this. The Constitution as plainly as possible says people who were born here have an unequivocal right to citizenship. Four people whose ONLY job is to read the Constitution for the rest of their lives just tried to overturn it because they're tired of brown people. Pack it.

The Supreme Court today addressed one of the most pressing threats to the nation today: banning this high school sophomore from playing school sports with her friends 🫡🫠🙃
