Calling it a night, but a thought: Sometimes a videogame is an Product, created by a corporate edifice of thousands, designed to pass time and have Content extracted from it. Sometimes it is a baffling many-buttoned artifact made by one very odd person, crafted primarily for their own amusement.

At this point I'm convinced that there's a cabal of like, ten mustache-twirling villainous billionaires who really DO want to be the corporate god-kings in a cyberpunk dystopia, but can't go ten minutes without stepping on each other's dicks. Aspiring neo-feudalism by way of the Three Stooges.

AI stans: It's just marketed wrong. That's the problem. You're just listening to the wrong people about this. It's not this big evil thing Sam Altman, King of AI: No one should have any RAM but me

A screenshot of a television show intro looking over a mobile home trailer park, with the text in yellow over the top COUGAR MOBILE HOME PARK. You can almost hear the bass-heavy and funk inspired intro theme just looking at the pixels.

there has been a massive ai sell off in the stock market the past couple weeks -- aside from oil prices, it seems directly related to this. development has plateaued while at the same time massive risk is being exposed. the php vulnerability really put the fear of god in these mfs lololol
