it’s national coming out day and yours will be a lot happier if you do. yes, even now. there’s no air in the closet. and if a trans person comes out to you, and you’re cis, “thank you for trusting me. what can i do to support you?” works just fine.
emily blight 🐦⬛@threnody.northsky.social · 3w agoso i guess all the way down here in post 15 my point is maybe: if you’re trans you should come out. yes, even now. you should give transition a try for the sake of your self. and if you already came out, despite ways it’s made life harder (not your fault!) ask yourself: what else am i capable of?

If you are trans you are taken to a Catholic hospital, the staff is forbidden from even administering your maintenance medications. The personal beliefs of the staff and your medical history are irrelevant. About 1 in 7 hospital beds in the US are controlled by the Catholic church.
