If you're interested in getting this pin, check out Tapling Zines' acc and keep an eye out for the fundraiser announcement! 🐦‍⬛🏳️‍⚧️ #formline #telekitneticart

Our final merch reveal for our upcoming Moments of Euphoria Kickstarter! Telekitnetic ( @telekitnetic.bsky.social ) is creating a wooden pin of a raven holding the sun with the trans flag's color palette, in the style of Indigenous Formline art, pulling from lore about ravens as shapeshifters. 🪶

my burnout has been disabling to a degree that i haven't experienced in +15 yrs (and back then I didn't have the words/framework for what I was experiencing. which made it even harder). I'm trying to find my way back to healing and expressing myself again. long nonlinear journey here. tired.

horse girls, historical reenactors, train guys, trauma nurses...i'm NOT saying you should collect neurodivergent friends on purpose btw. i'm saying you're a writer so your friends are already neurodivergent

This is so critical to existing as a disabled person (including being neurodivergent or having mood disorders). Building your home and life around *what you can actually do*, not making tasks bigger and more difficult than they need to be because That's How It's Supposed to Be Done, is life changing

Somewhere in Germany, a mysterious man has spent months perfecting his bread-cutting technique, aiming to produce a perfectly even slice (as measured by digital caliper). He spoke to WIRED about why he embarked on this mission and the passionate breadhead community cheering him on:

This German Man Is on a Quest to Cut the Perfect Slice of Bread

Armed with high-end knives and digital calipers, Germanbreadcutter has entranced thousands of fans, one loaf at a time.

The sad thing is, it really isn’t. It’s like saying a physicist must be excited to see a suicidal man jump off a bridge. Yes, physics are occurring. But the physics occurring are not particularly stimulating for the intellect and the outcome is just sad. What‘s there to say? “Yep. Buddy went splat.”

In terms of establishing the fundamental aesthetic of the 1990s strand of cinematic cyberpunk, the 1993 "Super Mario Bros." adaptation is probably up there with "Johnny Mnemonic" and "Lawnmower Man" influence-wise, as much as we all hate to admit it.

We had a really mean python at work and I gave him back to his owner and was like “he was trying to kill me” and his owner said “well, he only has so many ways to interact with the world. All he has is a face” and it Moved Me

Paula Mulberry, 36, said: “When I was younger, I could sort of tune out the tormented wail of billions of tortured souls, but as I’ve gotten older and experienced burnout, it’s become more distracting.”

Wow! Autistic woman can hear existential howl of meaningless universe

An autistic woman's senses are so finely attuned that she can not only hear the buzzing of electricity in the walls, but also the perpetual background-level shriek of despair emitted by the…
