The author vetted it, their editor did, a copyeditor, a proofreader...the book is written the way it is for a reason.

AI, the kind the companies want normal people to use in their everyday lives, was invented by bad dorks who can't think about or make or do anything fun or cool or social, and they keep trying to sell it to us as a tool to outsource the doing of cool fun social things as if that's appealing.
This is Nazi rhetoric, full stop. It's not only a call to instigate a race war in the United States, but it's reminiscent of historic European justifications used to incite pogroms against Jews. People who say things like this are incredibly dangerous, as there is nothing they won't eventually do.

Ossoff is definitely not listening to Yglesias/Klein/PodSave reactionary centrist crowd, he does not think his marginal voter is a white-supremacist, and that is what makes him such an attractive candidate to the vast majority of US who are not white-supremacists.

Y'all, I am aware that some in this administration WANT children to witness a live execution. There is value in forcing them to say so out loud & on the record. This is the kind of thing that alarms, motivates, & mobilizes people who "aren't political" & don't pay attention to the news.
