btw if you’re ticked at AIPAC for whatever reason them spending a maximum amount of money to barely lose is ideal, 10/10, just as a pure matter of don’t-know-ball and forward outcome for them as an organization. this cycle has been catastrophic for them purely in terms of inputs and outputs

And this isn't just an issue on a personal level- people are very visibly burning themselves out due to rumination and that's going to be an issue politically because when you have people who are burnt out and broken by themselves they can't advocate for the party effectively.

This isn't healthy or productive even when it's about things in your personal life you have far more control over- it's called rumination and it's a disordered thought-pattern. When doing it about things you have basically no power over it's a recipe for serious mental issues.

Its good actually when Democrats come together after a primary and acknowledge that Republicans are actually the real threat and should be kept out of office at all costs.

This feels reminiscent of that article where the guy admitted any depiction of Jews in media upset him.

My observation, especially in the last year, is that the real insidious thing isn’t even the rise of outrageously obvious antisemitism. It’s the complete refusal by many on the left to call it out or do anything about it. After over a decade of calling out every kind of niche reactionaryism.

To the extent there are problems with The System, they’re largely (1) poor people suffer, (2) women suffer, and (3) people of color suffer. These are all things RFK likes about The System. To give him credit for “shaking things up” is to out yourself as either a eugenicist or a dumbfuck. Or both.

I think in one sense I agree, but I think it's probably worth noting that paramilitary sub-state violence has a tendency to tilt toward escalatory non-discriminatory violence as people seek to eliminate any potential security rivals. So I think it's fair enough to call for cooler heads to prevail.
