No longer content with pillaging intellectual work and dismembering our environment (already critically weakened), AI companies are now hellbent on destroying books galore including rare editions. Shut down these nefarious enterprises already.

sucks that basically every heartwarming animal story on social media now is fake, did not happen, supporting photos are ai crap with obvious tells. it crowds out the wonder in the real world and makes actual delightful interactions seem pale compared to the fictions we get passed as real

Man spent five hours filling his bucket with fish, until he woke up to find every single one gone. On May 20th, a man was fishing off a dock when he started having one of the best days he’d had in weeks. Dock camera showed his Dog was feeding a Dolphin 🐬

Kind of wild to be living through the creation of a Lost Generation when it comes to education because of the proliferation of LLMs in schools and universities.

Year after year, we'll be seeing our weather made chaotic, the systems we depend rendered brittle, our homes threatened and the capacities for change in our communities tested by urgent problems — and often depleted. This is not the future. We're seeing it happen all around us, now.
