"don't make enough money" is a fig leaf All those degree programs--social work, art, etc.--have disproportionately female student bodies. This is designed to make it harder for women to attend college--college education being a key factor in women's autonomy from men & left-leaning voting pattern.

President Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. trib.al/aaAEu6v

Deeply fucked that “regardless of what genitals a little girl has, I don’t think adults should demand to look at them” is considered a radical freak position in some corners

Okay, I am going to tell a little story. It's one I have saved for the last couple years, almost nobody knows about it. But it lives in my heart. I don't know how others will feel about it, maybe something, maybe nothing. It's about the Uncanny X-Men. 1/

Water coolers dispense water very slowly. But if you push the water cooler over you can make lots of water come out all at once. Follow me for more workplace tips that will get you sent to HR for the third time this week

Also, as we all know, there are lots of rural areas that don't vote GOP. Coincidentally, they're all the rural areas that aren't majority-white. We do ourselves a real disservice pretending the "rural-urban divide" in politics is real. It ain't. Full stop.

RFK jr is not a horrible person because he does or did struggle with substance use. yes, he got away with it more than almost anybody else does--but lots of people do that without doing what he's done. he's shit because he's shit, and if anything, bc he's a privileged shit, not bc he's an addict

Look, I loathe RFK Jr. But could we please stop using things like this to claim that anyone who has struggled with substances is forever useless, a grifter, and an addict? WE HAVE TO KEEP OUR HUMANITY and CARE FOR OTHER HUMANS...especially those struggling...Otherwise, what makes us different?

More fantasy stories need to dig into slings and slingshots instead of bows. *Especially* visual media. Do you know how incredibly cool the visuals of an inhumanly skilled slingshoter would be as they danced and spun to change their angles, reload, and build up the acceleration for their next shot?

I will reiterate: Christians in the West evangelize in public for the same reason men catcall. Neither is trying to persuade you; both are reminding you that the public sphere belongs to them and you exist in it at their sufferance.

Any time anybody refers to 'cancer' as a single 'solvable' thing for their argument, I just stop listening anyways You're gonna talk about 'curing cancer'? Which one? What kind of cancer? How many kinds of cancer are there? What differentiates one type of cancer from another?
