They do so in the name of a current player. The WNBA is protecting the agitators & punishing uprisers. I won’t watch a single Fever game.
I can’t afford gas or groceries and Trump won’t allow disaster relief to my state because our governor is a Democrat. But at least the federal government is banning workplace heat protections.
And those were just the kids that she, personally, lost. That doesn't include the number of kids who brought it home, lost a parent or caregiver, and then had to somehow continue through the school year. That doesn't include the number of kids who got a little sick... but then never got 'better.'
I suppose I should have said a "traditional" quarantine, but character limits. I remember watching as people demanded in-person service - as though the worst thing they could imagine was not being waited upon. I remember even then all the people acting like mitigation was somehow optional.
I remember, maybe April or May of 2020, seeing the traffic return to the roads and wondering how many people were on "essential" business, and how many had just decided they had enough. I remember the shortages, as both grocery workers and the delivery drivers got dangerously sick, or died.
I remember my dad, texting me from the emergency room, where he was waiting in the hall to be seen because there was no available space, telling me about the bodies they kept wheeling past him.
This is worse than justification, it's victim-blaming AND gaslighting. "Whatever you got is your own fault, if you stayed" plus a helping of "how bad could it have possibly been if you chose to stay? You're probably remembering it worse than it was."

As expected, this Eastern ICE flight has now landed in Bangui, Central African Republic. This is a third-country removal. I don’t know how many people are onboard, but there is at least one man from Nepal. Previously, people from Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan were expelled here.
Overnight, this plane flew to Senegal to refuel and has now made its first removal stop, to Sierra Leone. This is very likely the third third-country removal to Sierra Leone.

Sounds like it’s going to go Senegal - Ghana - Central African Republic, with the latter two being third-country removals. At least one of the immigrants being sent to CAR is from Nepal.
