In the wake of a Madison PD officer killing 38-year-old Corey Ruiz on July 22, people set up an impromptu community hub in the intersection where police shot Ruiz. Per local reporting, it turned into an encampment, which the city cleared early Tuesday, only for people to re-occupy it Tuesday night.
