Why do I, a trans woman, who is being actively attacked by both men on the ballot, need to vote for either? I am better off being a one-issue voter and wielding my power that way in solidarity with my trans siblings.

personally i think it'd be honest to sell people pissed at dems on voting for them anyway if people didn't blow smoke up their asses about how they actually are super secretly on your side and are going to fight hard for you soon as they win. honesty about cowardice helps breed more actual trust.

The vitriol directed at me and other members of the trans community for having the audacity to declare our votes are not to be taken for granted. By cisgender people who otherwise have called themselves allies. I wish it weren’t so utterly predictable.

This is our reward for being one of the most reliable parts of the base, btw. The second we say “I’m not sure I can support someone who will kill my community even if they’re from this party” it’s like we’re fucking monsters. Genuinely if you’re still caping for the dems why? Look how they are.
