I forgot to mention that I also painted this dwarf, whose skin isn't this vibrant IRL. It's a heroforge model and I find those a bit annoying to paint, everything just seems so flat on them. It's a friend's D&D character and I painted it following the colour scheme he came up with.

The way the history of pop was warped by boomer criticism/historiography into a hard dividing line between a supposed glop past and Elvis-and-everything-after with a rock focus was a massive reductive mistake that is still playing out.

I wonder what percentage of the (broadly defined) "content" we see nowadays is basically kayfabe: people trying to come up with something that'll make a fuss, but that they don't fundamentally believe or even really care about. There are studies showing it *is* possible for human beings to detect ai generated text *with practice,* but practice requires extensive exposure to lllms. If you're someone who doesn't use llms, you *should* remain open to the possibility that you can be tricked by it.
