I got doored a few years ago and it gave me a concussion bad enough that I lost memory for a few hours. I firmly believe I'm still alive because I had gotten a new helmet days before. Good bike infrastructure saves lives. Cut corners take them.

almost got hit by a car door today i was quick enough to see it and move but just more proof that door zone bike lanes are not safe (winnetka ave bike lane)

I’m sorry but why aren’t we talking more about the fact that Angie Craig called Sen. John Hoffman soon after he was shot for his endorsement?? A new low. Very transactional move and she’s not the person I want representing us in the U.S. Senate. Primary Election Day is 8/11. I’m voting Flanagan.

minnesota state senator john hoffman revealed tonight at the peggy flanagan rally in st. paul that angie craig asked him for his endorsement for US senate while he was still in the ICU after vance boelter shot him really appalling anecdote!

john hoffman, MN state senator who survived an assassination attempt by vance boelter, who killed mark and melissa hortman, is here supporting omar fateh. he said fateh was his first visitor when he was in hospital. gave him a note saying “we’ll get that fucker” that is still on his fridge

The way that ppl not only dramatically underestimate the number of people biking because they take up a fraction of the space of cars, but then also don't believe it when you put up an automated counter?! Just sit there one day and count them yourself. Being proven wrong doesn't hurt that much.

This very fancy, and I’m sure very expensive contraption located on the corner of Bloor and Oakmount Road across from High Park, was taken on July 7, 2026
Who among you actually believe that since January this year, 162,456 bicycles have travelled along this bike path?
That constitutes an average of over 900 bikes EVERY SINGLE DAY, including bone-chilling temperatures in January and February, snow-covered bike lanes AND rainy days!
How much money did our brilliant city council waste on perpetuating this myth? See less

In courting the idea that SART can be relitigated or quietly killed off, Mayor Her is risking the creation of a viable playbook for anti environmentalists all over Minnesota. Save Summit Ave (aka Save Our Street) is a conspiracist organization, not one to be treated as reputable or good faith.

Counterpoint: The math against the Summit Avenue trail doesn’t work; democracy, however, does
