Humble, sexy genius.

There are more Ketchup sachets than nurses. More operational Furbies than professors of human geography. More dogs named "Digger" than people licensed to operate a JCB. And you ask why people are turning to Reform?

telegraph headline: ADHD benefits claiments outnumber soldiers.

A fascinating editorial decision from the BBC, to make the headline a scaremongering “AUTISM AND ADHD ARE BEING OVERDIAGNOSED”, and then, four bullet points later, have the author of the report quoted as essentially saying “nah, that’s bullshit, actually”.

ADHD and autism at risk of over-diagnosis, says report, as author warns of rise in mental ill health
Summary
• An official review in England finds there is a risk of people being over-diagnosed with
ADHD and autism - three key findings from the report
• As well as neurodevelopmental conditions, the review looks at mental ill health, particularly in younger people. Our health correspondent explains the difference
• It was commissioned earlier this year after Wes Streeting, then the health secretary, said there was an "over-diagnosis" of mental health conditions
• Speaking to Radio 4's Today programme earlier, review chair Prof Peter Fonagy said Streeting was "with respect, completely wrong"

For anyone not aware of why you need to take rabies seriously: this was the 15th. Say she did get infected when she picked it she's got about 5 days left to get the first shot. Without that shot symptoms will kick in around 10 days. Once they do she is 100% going to die in one of the worst ways.

RABID BAT FOUND ON SIDEWALK
On Tuesday, September 15 at about 12pm, a bat was found on the sidewalk on Hennepin Ave between N. Washington Ave and N 3°St.
The bat died and was sent for rabies testing. This bat tested positive for
rabies.
A woman was seen crouching by the bat and putting it into a bag. She was described as a 25-to-30-year-old white woman, about 5'5", with curly brown hair and a curly-haired golden retriever-like dog. If this was you, please call 911 and ask to be connected to Animal Care & Control.
Bites from bats are tiny, may be painless, and may not leave a mark. An person who had physical contact or touched this bat should talk with health care provider this weekend for assessment. During the week, Minnesota Department of Health can also provide rabies assessments at 651-201-5414.
If vou did not touch or have any contact with the bat, you have no risk of rabies and do not need shots.

it’s Labor Day, so it’s time for Boots Theory support your local unions, folks, and don’t let the bastards get you down

I'm 90% certain that the "England 'til I die" that the masked mob were chanting about is an AI image of a Miss Marple style high street with buses going the wrong way, a dog with 5 legs, and "click Like if you rembemmber pikn'mix" in big letters, that they saw on Facebook this morning.

Was meant to go to a gig tonight but my friend is ill and has pulled out. Don't fancy a 6 hour round trip on my own so going to miss it. Gutted. This calls for a large amount of grilled meat and strong booze.
