10/ All of this was totally foreseeable. Frankly, it’s why previous presidents weren’t so stupid to start a war like this. Trump has lost control of the war. His best course now is to cut his losses and end it. That’s the only way to prevent an even bigger disaster.

Fans continue to let out cheers, but just began booing as a team official removed it on the ice.
Man, I dunno. Easy to joke about this, how old we all are, etc. But I don't think it's just that, it feels like the mechanisms of transmitting cultural memory to younger generations are just totally broken??? I don't like it

Physical engineering relies on predictable outcomes from known inputs. You don’t build bridges by trial-and-error in production. Software mostly uses iterative, empirical processes: ship, test, refactor. Design methods changed like fashion seasons for awhile until it sort of settled into vibes.

The sooner we internalize that most e-bike riders as who they likely are, which is someone who would almost certainly otherwise be driving, the sooner the all powerful bike lobby will reach the bike singularity. Even if some did switch from acoustic to e-bike that just means they’ll use it more!
