I'm sorry if it makes me lib as hell but I do think it's a serious issue a lot of people in power have worked tirelessly to disempower education and journalism and that people are reading significantly less and that information is increasingly disseminated by video formats speaking authoritatively.
Matthew Yglesias continues to say that talking about ICE and excessive force in immigration enforcement helps Republicans. He is obviously wrong about this and refuses to acknowledge the data. Way past time for everyone to update their priors on this.

The kids these days will hardly believe it, but a mere decade ago, we had a presidential election in which effectively the only issue on the table was the security of IT & communications at the highest level of government. I’m sure the next 2 weeks will reflect this same level of urgency & concern 🤔
