I love the late Dream Time stuff but Elephant Man has always been the big one for me. As wild as his wildest in some ways, but also so dialed in and direct on the radical empathy that gave the later work its heft.

My slight tweak to ONE NIGHT ONLY is that it should take place in a world where only a tiny fraction of people are even *capable* of having sex. And they’re forced to do so in a club while “sex negatives” watch. Also the sex is unsimulated.

Republican power grabs in Kansas and Missouri are going down in flames with 18-25% of votes reported so far. Missouri's Amendment 4 aimed to make citizen-initiated constitutional amendments practically impossible. Kansas' Amendment 1 was designed to flip the state Supreme Court to ban abortion
