My One Night Only theory is that since theatrical rom coms don’t really get made anymore, they had to come up with an insane high concept premise just to get a “hey what if two attractive people met and fell in love?” movie in theaters.

After my c-section, I asked my ObGYN what care at home would look like and what sort of painkiller I'd be prescribed (so my husband could pick it up) and he said OTC Tylenol because by asking, I was "exhibiting drug seeking behavior."

You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.

I remember a coworker in her late twenties saying this on how dating was so difficult. I was not surprised by her first two complaints: general anger issues and having few outside hobbies. I WAS surprised at her mention of how many men apparently don’t wash their hair or butts.
