I am going to be spending the rest of my day and possibly my week thinking about "Werner the Herzog" and quite frankly it's the last thing I needed
Juro que tem dias que eu acordo pensando nisso aqui:
Not only would I not care if AI vanished overnight, I wouldn't even NOTICE.
My answer is LOL ROFL (dickbrain) The terminally AI-pilled can't even *imagine* some people have *never* asked stochastic parrots to cheat at their job for them.
Blocking anyone celebrating today. I mean the EHRC thing, not randomers having a birthday
To all my trans siblings in the UK. May you find the resilience to defy and the unity to succeed in your defiance. Piss freely, piss righteously, piss honourably.
To my cisgender siblings in the UK: today is segregation day. Help in every way you possibly can. Do not ignore this. Fight the transphobes in every venue, in every arena, in every situation.
Before joining the Plastic Ono band, John Lennon was an uncredited songwriter for The Bottles, whose beer-themed songs delighted small audiences in and around Leister.
I've said this before but it bears repeating....I Googled "how old was Lastic the horse that broke the world high jump record in 1978" and Google AI told me Lastic was over a thousand years old.
Guys like this don’t realize that they are the freak
Not to go all Joxley, but the utter collapse of a sense of community pride and social responsibility within the Conservative party is at the heart of their current woes.
It's OK for criminal ex-neo Nazis to run your bins is a hell of a line.
Do try to remember that the EHRC guidance only affects service providers and not employment, so if you work somewhere where there are toilets or changing rooms for employees that aren’t open to the public then your employers are wrong if they try to stop you from using facilities for your gender
I recently noticed in my dissertation that Word was using Co-Pilot to generate alt-text of the charts/maps, with a tag that they were AI generated.
My daughter’s university scrutinizes each essay for evidence of AI. The goal is to get a 0% score. This AI-hunting is done by… AI. A recent essay scored 17%. She questioned what the AI thought was AI, since she hadn’t used it. The answer: the uni-issued cover page showing student ID, faculty etc. 🤦🏻♂️
It's vital to understand that the conservative obsession with calling their political adversaries groomers, rapists and pedophiles while simultaneously protecting sexual offenders in their own party isn't a contradiction, but the result of an ideology that views rape as a crime of property damage.
Pure scum wrapped in fake piety.
I miss '80s nostalgia, when are they gonna bring that back?
Rod Liddle said what they all secretly wanted to say. Jimmy Savile did what they all secretly wanted to do.
Not speaking ill of the dead is how Jimmy Saville got something approaching a state funeral.
Musk has managed to poison the well to such an extent that we can now only think of platforms as "The Woke Factory" or "you will receive abuse from misogynists, racists and fascists and you will like it", and that's not great - hopefully Bsky does manage to create something in the middle!
As Rod Liddle has died, I notice this column I wrote in 2019 about his attacks on people with M.E. is on the most read again. Rebekah Brooks, of News UK, described Liddle today as “provocative”. In reality, he spread lies about very sick people for cash. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
Rod Liddle vilifies disabled people. I’m tired of the hate. We all should be | Frances Ryan
Whether it is ME patients or another target, huge swathes of the media have normalised hatred of minorities for years, says Guardian columnist Frances Ryan

I see a lot of very smart people saying stuff like “we have to acknowledge AI is getting better and it’s not going away” to which I always ask who’s paying for it? Because there’s two eventual scenarios.
i think dont speak ill of the death makes sense when you are like, a politician or someone else who is in the public eye for some reason. what will change if i, a hospitality worker, say that i am glad that some cunt who was a domestic abuser died. ive got no power or influence.
drunk driving may kill a lot of people, but it also helps a lot of people get their dopamine hit, so, it;s impossible to say if its bad or not,
never thought short form video would be able to capture a type of humor i can only describe as “the far side-esque” but this comes close.
Oh my god a trope is not a cliche. Get this into your heads, people. Underdog battles natural disaster but wins through is a trope. Boy meets girl (etc) but their parents (society) disapprove is a trope. It is how it is done that is a cliche.
