It’s also worth pointing out that Taylor Swift, one of the most ubiquitous pop artists in the US, got her start in country, and the music she’s making now isn’t substantially different
The BEST part of getting old (and there are many) is that you can ABSOLUTELY miss something wildly popular. Zooshas just flying by while you’re admiring someone’s sensible shoes or whatever. Bliss.
