i hope a trade deal is indeed close, for the workers suffering under the us tariff regime and ensuing job instability, and i understand why us booze has to go back on the shelves to get it done, but i won't buy it or any other us good i'm a year and half into the boycott and i could do this all day

In a fair system, new tech would empower workers. Greater productivity would translate to fewer working hours or higher pay. But in our system, greater productivity from tech only ever benefits capital, never the workers. Workers generate more profit for owners and never see any benefits.
