Now that these batshit policies are rolling out on the ground, in the name of trans inclusion, every single trans person I've spoken to (and me too) have had medical providers fuck up our records and expose our trans status to third parties because of that "birth sex" field. It should not exist.

I will die on this hill if I have to. The ABS census is wrong. Equality Australia is wrong. ACON is wrong. That LGBTIQ Health organisation is wrong. Every single "progressive" idea they have about collecting data related to trans people is wrong. This is a bad idea, and we should not have done it.

if trans women are male, but they are getting these records, then "sex" must not matter. if you insist "sex" does matter, then trans women must be female. both are unviable as challenges to male supremacy by positioning "sex" as incoherent, or socially mediated at best.
