I support the winner of the Michigan Democratic primary as the future senator from Michigan.

I said that realistically, exurban Livingston County was a must-win for Haley Stevens. 61-36 El-Sayed at the moment.

ah, here we go: the demand is real but it's only from OpenAI and Anthropic, who apparently have no customers. and this directly contradicts Zitron's other favorite story to misread, the tokenmaxxing panic. what are CFOs panicking about if they're not spending large and growing amounts of money?

People will call this weak and cringe but it’s what Dems need after today. Time to buck up if they want to win in the fall.

I think this piece is interesting, and I understand that Wilson is never going to be a fan of Nolan’s Odyssey. This piece is better about it, but one of my least favorite things about criticism is bemoaning what one thinks a thing should have been rather than engaging with what it is.

Much of my career boils down to: All code is liability. Minimize it. Feedback loops are everywhere. Speed them up; do them more. We're bad at predicting the future. Avoid it. More tests. Hire smart, motivated people, then get out of their way. Find the right thing to turn off and on again.

Starting next week pools are gonna be closed on weekdays in Sac while temps are still in the 100s. One may think “Huh maybe we should raise the tickets above $3-5$ so we can keep the pools open” But user fees are inequitable. So in the spirit of ensuring equal access the pool will be inaccessible.
