Right wing Jews stupidly ignore antisemitism in MAGA, that’s true. But most Jews and Jewish institutions are liberal. They focus more on perceived antisemitism on “their side” using the same logic as Anti-Israel protestors do when they protest and hound Dems but not Republicans.

My observation, especially in the last year, is that the real insidious thing isn’t even the rise of outrageously obvious antisemitism. It’s the complete refusal by many on the left to call it out or do anything about it. After over a decade of calling out every kind of niche reactionaryism.

Right now there doesn’t seem to be any movement in the US opposed to antisemitism.

E-bikes give people affordable, clean transportation. If kids are getting hit by pickup trucks, the answer isn’t to treat e-bikes like the problem; it’s protected bike lanes, safer crossings, lower traffic speeds, and infrastructure that keeps everyone separated from multi-ton vehicles.

"I support cyclists and their right to ride safely on the road but only if they follow the rules all of the time" is an absolutely unhinged thing to say in a country where we have drivers killing tens of thousands of people each year and speeding while playing on your phone is normal and accepted

hyperbole obviously but there should be a technology solution for distracted driving phone use when driving is endemic, car and phone manufacturers should be on the hook for fixing the issue

New this morning: Thanks to Attorney General Letitia James issuing a consumer alert, companies will no longer be able to deceptively market their illegal high-speed devices as "legal." These companies have been preying on New Yorkers, and lives have been lost because of it.

In terms of antisemitism this would be mostly OK ("[Name of PAC here] bought the election!" is a common phrasing with a long history) except for the fact that AIPAC opposed the winner of Kat's election. Which makes this post straight up "The JOOOS are to blame for this thing I don't like."

Astute and important, what folks need to understand is that it’s imperative to put there supper behind the pro-democracy movement in Israel. I definitely think Occupy was the start of it/when universities started to really lean into “postcolonial”/“decolonization” stuff. It was an active effort to reduce Jewish influence on culture and it was very successful,and there was very strong social pressure to get onboard with it from the start

and sadly 2026 represents when it went fully mainstream as a socially acceptable theory of everything, a widely embraced populist political movement endorsed by people running for very high office in the US FUN!

I'd say two things, 1. it never went away as much as we all wish it had 2. starting back maybe as early as 2009, but certainly 2016 containment started to leak, worse and worse every year, 2023 was when the last wall broke and it went live and fully electric
