Don't quote me on this in like 10 years but I think one of the defining issues of the 2020s is "a better world is actually very easy to achieve, the powers that be are just not interested in achieving it."

Chad Loder@chadloder.dev · 4d agoThe diarrhea lettuce company, Taylor Farms, uses slave labor contracted from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The backbreaking labor is often performed by imprisoned Mexican nationals who would be otherwise ineligble to work in the US. They are paid $1.50 an hour.
This is why ACAB is in effect. On the rare occasion you do get a "good" cop who wants to protect and serve their community, they get harassed and/or killed by their fellow officers.

He’s now charged with 16 felonies & could get 13 years in prison.

I was in ICE detention for 2 months and 10 days. They kept me in solitary for 2 days for no reason, alone in a room with just a toilet. They never let us go outside.
