So Ken Jennings mocks a trans woman for pointing out he gives $$ to NYT, which mainstreamed US anti-trans rhetoric, and now he's pulling a Gavin Newsome claiming "I'm a great trans ally!" while cis ppl lap it up praising him as SUCH A GOOD GUY! Cis liberals really don't give a fuck about trans ppl.

i'd say "pay attention to who has kind things to say about rod liddle, the racist pedophile, following his death" but to no surprise it is the entirety of the mainstream british press

A couple of weeks ago I rode to Newburyport MA and saw this COVID memorial and realized this is the only one I have ever seen anywhere. And the fact that I nearly broke down seeing it is something I still think about.

For those who died and those who survived and all we list during the COVID-19 pandemic.

PLEASE SHARE THIS To the young person (longish dark hair, patterned waistcoat, chinos & DM boots) who left this scroll of papers on the Piccadilly Line train at South Kensington station at about 4.25pm today, I’ve handed it to the station staff at Hammersmith.

Number 10 North just looks like an annoying restaurant in zone one where a mediocre burger is £26 and when it arrives you ask where the chips are the waiter tells you "those are ordered separately" and you order them and they're £7 and come in a little metal bucket for cunts.

On a short vacation in the mountains I went into a gift shop and found this delightful tarot deck by @toddalcott.bsky.social. I thought it looked fun and purchased it, but now I'm getting a chance to look through it and take it in it may honestly be one of the best things I own.

A tarot box with the title "Todd Alcott's Sci-Fi Tarot". The art is in the style of a pulp sci-fi paperback, featuring a chrome robot seated on a rock in a desolate red planet. The robot is thoughtfully examining a tarot card. A spread of three tarot cards: the Devil, the 9 of Swords, and the 3 of Wands. All three cards feature unique artwork in the style of classic pulp sci-fi book covers or movie posters.
The Devil features two human figures standing bare in front of a sinister computer, the computer screen shows sinister red eyes. A caption at the top reads: "A machine perfectly engineered -- for enslavement!"
The 9 of Swords shows a woman in a blue mini dress holding a retro laser pistol, her expression shows horror as she is pierced by 9 red beams of energy. The caption reads: "Nightmare in Space: Sudden Terror Aboard an Intergalactic Cruiser"
The 3 of Wands shows a figure in a hat and trenchcoat in a barren landscape gazing through binoculars at three green lights in the sky. The caption reads: "A Journey Into the Unknown. Where are you going? What will you do once you get there? A light on the horizon calls to you!"
